Description:

TOGA, a part of the World Climate Research Program (WCRP), is a 10-year project (1985-1994) to study the coupled ocean-atmosphere system. To achive this goal, TOGA is measuring atmospheric and oceanographic variables for the 10-year period and performing modeling studies of the coupled ocean-atmosphere system aimed at prediction of the system.

The data from the TOGA project, both in situ and numerical model data, has been assembled and compiled onto CDROMs. This data includes:

Drifting buoy data
Sea surface temperature
Numerical model results
Wind pseudo-stress
Sea-surface height
Precipitation estimates
Surface data
Subsurface data
Clouds products
