Description:This is a multimedia CD-ROM for the Apple Macintosh computer about stratospheric ozone. It was written and developed by Dr. Kenneth P. Bowman at Texas A&M University.The CD-ROM contains: background information on ozone deletion, the stratosphere, and satellite monitoring of the ozone layer; more than 14 years of daily and monthly ozone maps for the entire globe; actual ozone measurements over the entire globe for every day and month in the record; a glossary of scientific and technical terms; and ozone maps and charts in the form of encapsulated postscript files. The required hardware are a Macintosh with at least 8MB RAM, 8-bit (256 color) display, System 7 (or 6.07 with 32-bit Quickdraw).
