Description:These CD-ROMs contains the satellite imagery and products for the 1994 and 1995 snow cover mapping seasons. This includes airborne, satellite (SSM/I, AVHRR, Goes) and snow cover data sets for the coterminous United States, Alaska, and much of Canada. Ancillary datasets include digital elevation model data and river basin and state boundary outlines.The CD-ROMs also contains some PC and Unix utilities for use with these data sets (the latter are already available on the CGRER workstations).
DocumentationThere is a copy of the User's Guide available along with additional printed literature. Additional information is on the CD-ROMs and can be obtained the NOHRSC WWW at http:www.nohrsc.nws.gov.
