Description:

The IGBP-DIS Global Fire Product is a response to a requirement from Global Change scientists for better information on the occurrence and impacts of fire on the earth's surface. This dataset contains a global picture of vegetation fire derived from daily satellite observations over the period April 1992 to December 1993.

This data is in three different formats: Daily fire position tables (binary and text versions) give the latitude and longitude of each fire pixel detected each day. Ten-Day fire and cloud data is in raster format. Single day cloud data is in raster format.
