Description:

This CDROM presents maps and time series graphs of three of the National Climate Data Center's frequently referenced historical divisional data sets. These are precipitation, termperature, and the Palmer Hydrological Drought Index. Data are summarized by state climatic divisions. Climatic divisions are regions within a state that are reasonably homogeneous with respect to climate and hydrologic characteristics. The CDROM contains 1032 time-series graphs, 4180 maps, and 5400 frames of video animation. Raw data for all of the analyses is also available.

A PC-based program called SLICK! available on the CDROM is required to display (using VGA graphics) many of the maps and time-series graphs.
