Description:This is a database containing the latitude and longitude of worldwide urban centers along with some additional information. While there are approximately 50,000 entries in this database, it is not a comprehensive compilation. Regional and national capitols seem to be well represented but not necessarily all large urban centers. The emphasis in this database seems to be that of having a wide geographic distribution of urban centers. Also note that all place names appear in the native language of the country (i.e. spellings may not be what you think).The data is one line per urban center and is in the following format: Ropczycel|1|PL|3|21.6166819854413|50.05000039017145
