Sang-Rin is a postdoctoral associate working on an HEI funded project to develop a screening model for personal exposures to air toxics, particularly gases, PM, and size-resolved ultrafine particles from vehicles in urban traffic. In 1999, he left his homeland Korea and landed at the Gatorland, Gainesville, FL, to pursuit Ph.D. He completed Ph.D. from Environmental Engineering and Sciences in the University of Florida in 2005.
