Robert Bullard is a teaching and research assistant in the University of Iowa's Department of Chemical & Biochemical Engineering. He is an alumni of Weber State University in Ogden, UT where he received a B.S. degree in physics. Working under the direction of Charles O. Stanier he is studying the secondary formation and growth of ultrafine aerosols by nucleation. Ultrafine aerosols are relevant to current issues in climate change and air pollution. Adding information about ultrafine aerosol formation by nucleation to models will improve their ability to quantify the effects of aerosols on climate change and air pollution. Outside of school Robert has a big family (a wife, three children, and a gigantic dog).
