Min Huang is a fourth-year graduate student from Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at the University of Iowa. She analyzes chemical transport model simulations (from STEM) and various observational datasets to understand the impacts of long-range transport and local emissions on U. S. west coast air quality during NASA's ARCTAS field experiment in spring and summer, 2008 (http://www.espo.nasa.gov/arctas/). Huang is a member of American Geophysical Union (AGU) and presented her research at AGU fall meetings in 2009 and 2010. She also has published papers on the journal of "Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics" (doi:10.5194/acp-10-6947-2010; 10.5194/acpd-10-27777-2010). Huang gained field experiment experience by participating the NASA's student airborne research program in summer 2009 in California (http://www.cgrer.uiowa.edu/news/2009/08/08242009_UI.htm).
Before coming to the United States, Huang obtained her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering at Southeast University (Nanjing, China) in 2007, with a focus on air pollution control. She was involved in air sampling/analysis in environmental monitoring center and air pollution control facility design in engineering company, as an intern.
